Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Cost Accountant located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, the Cost Accountant role involves responsibilities for preparing and maintaining accounting records, analyzing and interpreting accounting records in order to give advice or prepare statements.

What a typical day looks like:

- Reconcile trial balance accounts within individual’s responsibility.
- Prepare/Review Journal Vouchers with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Ensure corporate reporting deadlines are met for designated reports.
- Develop forecast for areas within responsibility interfacing with individuals outside of cost accounting.
- Be familiar with relevant Accounting, regulatory and reporting requirements in the Controllers Handbook.
- Establish objectives and implement appropriate processes in line with established financial practices.
- Lead financial periodic closing, analysis and reporting.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Experience in similar position.
- Understanding of cost accounting processes.
- Ability to interpret financial policies and procedures as they adhere to the manufacturing environment.
- Advanced English (verbal and written).
- Excel Intermediate - Advanced.
