**_Responsibilities_**

**_Your typical projects might include:_**

**_Execute on the developed category strategy for the aligned spend categories, with ownership of the strategic sourcing project portfolio (local, regional, and global)_**

**_Leads and drives complex sourcing projects/category team projects across relevant business area_**

**_Develops, evaluates, and manage internal and external relationships with suppliers, Category Teams and other cross-functional teams for area of direct accountability_**

**_Drive the preparation of proposals, quotations and competitive bids with pertinent specifications, terms and conditions_**

**_Develops, reviews, negotiates, and executes complex business agreements and contracts_**

**_Supplier evaluation, selection, and set-up of ongoing performance management_**

**_Coordinates the introduction of new / modified products and services with appropriate departments using extensive knowledge of category to reflect developments / innovations in the marketplace_**

**_Management of multiple end-to-end sourcing projects in parallel_**

**_Support broader transformation of the Category through supplier consolidation, PSLs, regional/global contracts, introducing consistent buying channels etc._**

**_Compliance to Procurement policies and procedures_**

**_Ensure quality of content and compliance with relevant sourcing governance forums (challenge boards, fortnightly status meetings)_**

**_Support Client Supplier Relationship Managers to ensure appropriate supplier management methods are applied to the different groups of suppliers (preferred, multi-category, tail-end, etc.)_**

**_Provide market analysis, benchmark data and supplier evaluation, to support category planning and risk management._**

**_Work with procurement stakeholders to understand their key data/analytics requirements and design market intelligence frameworks to support the creation of category strategies / playbooks_**

**_Qualifications and skills required_**

**_Degree or equivalent professional qualification with 7+ years Procurement experience_**

**_Significant Procurement experience demonstrating a proven track record of total expense management_**

**_Proven track record of leading large, complex, category-specific sourcing activities at enterprise level, including major, multi-geographic programs_**

**_Oral and written fluency in local business language and English_**

**_Experience of people management and stakeholder management_**

**_Ability and experience of coaching in Category Management best practice_**

**_Leading multi-disciplinary teams_**

**_Ability to leverage a range of influencing techniques_**

**_Proven ability to manage change_**

**_Strong analytical and financial skills_**

**_Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle / SAP / Ariba / Emptoris any other S&P tools is a positive)_**
