**Position Overview**

We are seeking an Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations for our North America region, including Mexico, and the United States.

This role will focus on transactional accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and reconciliations) while also providing opportunities to assist with month-end close, reporting, and audit preparation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Transactional Accounting_
- Process and record accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Maintain accounts receivable records, prepare customer statements, and support collections follow-up.
- Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and credit card statements.
- Record general ledger journal entries in Epicor ERP.
- Month-End Close & Reporting_
- Assist in monthly closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Support preparation of internal reports for U.S. and Canada SG&A entities.
- Provide documentation and analysis for internal and external audits.
- Process & Compliance_
- Ensure transactions are compliant with internal controls, accounting policies, and company procedures.
- Maintain organized financial records and support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounting processes.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS exposure a plus).
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Epicor ERP or other ERP systems preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills; English and Spanish proficiency preferred.
