**About the role**
This position supervises a team of technical/business support and/or production/maintenance employees within Materials & Logistics. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities related to the storage and shipping of products. Duties include conducting inventory control, preparing reports, and creating manuals for operational procedures.
- Increase production efficiency by improving material flow and reducing delays.
- Reduce costs associated with material handling by implementing efficient processes.
- Foster a collaborative work environment across teams to ensure smooth material handling operations.
**Role Responsibilities**
- Supervises the activities of workers involved in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials to ensure the efficient movement of materials.
- Conducts inventory control, analysis, and classification in accordance with material management procedures to ensure effective logistics deployment.
- Prepares or oversees the preparation of correspondence, reports, and manuals related to operations, maintenance, and safety to establish the appropriate range and depth of spares, tools, and test equipment.
- Develops and optimizes material flow processes to ensure the efficient delivery of parts and materials within the production area.
- Collaborates with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to establish material handling standards and processes.
- Manages inventory control systems and monitors stock levels to minimize shortages and prevent excess inventory.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in material flow, logistics, or production engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SAP, Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
