The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Financial Services team is looking for an experienced Financial Services Specialist (Insurance) to join our fast-paced team and help drive AWS adoption in the Financial Services industry in Mexico and spanish-speaking countries. As a Insurance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team focused on increasing technology adoption of cloud computing by engaging with executives and influencers at all levels. You will work closely with teams across AWS to build relationships with financial institutions, from Insuretech startups to the largest global financial entities in the world.
Key job responsibilities
Strategically, AWS Insurance Specialist seeks to understand the needs of Insurance customers, the overall trends in the industries, how customers define success, and ensure that we are exceeding expectations in developing and delivering valued industry solutions. Insurance Specialist plays an active role in developing go-to-market strategies, business cases, creating plans to achieve business goals, and then driving the AWS team members and potentially other third-parties to drive execution while addressing industry-specific challenges.
Tactically, AWS Insurance Specialist is responsible for planning and leading business development initiatives through their understanding of their customers, their solutions, and the key solutions vendors and system integrators who deliver those solutions. They leverage their management and leadership capabilities to identify and manage risks, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate to drive initiatives to successful completion.
About the team
The Global Financial Services team focuses on the largest FSI customers that typically operate across multiple continents and regulatory jurisdictions. The customers are managed on a global basis, you will be responsible for Financial Institutions operating in Spanish-speaking coutries from LATAM region, primarily Mexico.
