**About the Role
**tna **is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who will be responsible for the performance of daily financial operations including taxes, payroll, legal, AX Support, treasury and coordination of general administration including insurance reporting, analysing and communicating the financial position of the Region/Branch to management in a timely and accurate manner.
This position is based at **Queretaro - Mexico **, reporting to the **Financial Controller - Americas **. As well, this position is an onsite position.
**Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Prepare regular financial and statistical reports for internal and external use.
- Prepare and review revenues, expense and payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents.
- Liaises regularly with bankers, auditors, debtors and creditors.
- Process Payroll
- Responsible for weekly REVAL cashflow report.
- Reconciling and controlling inter-company accounts, general ledger, balance sheet, etc., resolving all accounting discrepancies.
- Ensures regular communication with co-workers, vendors and clients to educate and advise on Finance decisions and practices.
- Primary responsibility for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Maintain fixed asset register.
- Responsible for preparing annual budgets
- Review and sign imports legal documentation for customs, Reconcile monthly imports file with government tax records.
- Electronic Accounting configuration in AX, support on electronic invoicing.
- Calculate ISR, IVA, Local taxes monthly and supervise the annual calculation.
- Prepare Monthly Tax Federal and Local correct and on time, supervise Annual Taxes and submission.
**Qualifications, Work Experience & Knowledge
- Five years’ experience as a qualified Accountant or CPA is preferred and Tax accrual.
- Minimum of 5 years financial accounting experience with some autonomy and leading teams
- Performing or auditing accounting data and the preparation of related financial reports, Federal and Local Tax.
- Import and Export legal requirements.
- Transfer price & Trade related company, reports and legal requirements.
- Team management experience.
- Sound knowledge of generally accepted accounting theories, principles, methods and practices.
- Federal and Local Taxes, Social Security.
- Able to analyse and communicate qualitative and quantitative data.
- Maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work.

- Able to collect and organise accounting data, interpret its significance and prepare accurate financial reports.
- Ability to interpret complex issues into simple language that all employees can understand.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and spreadsheets.
- Knowledge in ERP, Dynamics, SAP.
- Advanced English, written and verbal.
