**MAIN PURPOSE**

The Regional Sales Director, reporting to the Managing Director, will oversee all Wholesale functions including managing the wholesale team, making sure that we meet sales targets, pitching new business and developing/improving operations. He/she will work both strategically and operationally to maintain and continue to build on our wholesale distribution as would be expected for a globally recognized luxury brand.

The Regional Sales Director will proactively develop relationships with major department stores as well as high-end multibrand stores and brand’s distributors throughout Mexico & LATAM (Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Suriname, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Panama & Costa Rica), ensuring lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with clients.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Key responsibility 1**

Manage and develop Sales - Animation and development of the distribution network by implementing distribution policies defined in the Marketing Plan. Evaluate, analyse and monitor dealer inventory and sell through to meet budget objectives and optimize the potential of each account.
- **Key responsibility 2**

Analyse market and Competition - Research, develop and gather market information in the assigned territory.
- **Key responsibility 3**

Travel throughout assigned territory to evaluate markets, product, pricing trends, and to call on regular and prospective customers to develop and maintain strong relationships with them.

Attend trade shows.

Develop and solicit prospects.
- **Key responsibility 5**

Assist the Credit Department in the collection process. Perform customer visits as required for credit, collection and problem resolution.

Forecast sales by product and by territory.

Set and monitor regional sales strategy and policy; to ensure coherence within the region

Develop and plan yearly and seasonal sales plans, ensuring ambitious sales growth goals are met in accordance with the business plan.

Adhere to and manage territory advertising and travel budgets.

Budget monthly and yearly sales and expenses per account.
- **Key responsibility 9**

Organize, manage and develop the existing wholesale team, and be responsible to recruit new talent into the business when needed.

In coordination with the Managing Director, establish compensation plans for all sales personnel including salary structures, commission’s plans, sales contest and bonus plans.

**Education**:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. MBA preferred.

**Required experience**:
Three to five years experience in the international sales, preferable in luxury products.

**Technical skills / abilities**:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Fully bilingual (English-Spanish) required.

**Personal skills**:

- Strong knowledge in sales and marketing strategies and techniques, preferable in luxury goods.
- Sales-oriented and excellent negotiation skills.
- Highly customer and result driven, good commercial sense.
- Strong leadership qualities both with customers and employees.
- Proven sales track record.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Hands-on and detail-oriented.
- Availability to travel and work extended hours.
- Familiar with international variances in cultural and legal issues as pertaining to sales.
