**About Us**

Hawk Excavator and EDDY Pump design and build industrial and heavy equipment—slurry pumps, dredge systems, excavator attachments (amphibious tracks, long sticks, cutterheads), HDPE pipe & floats, dewatering gear, and control/RTK-GPS systems. We sell and rent equipment across the U.S. and internationally.

Role Overview

What You’ll Do

**Inside Sales**
- Own inbound leads: discovery, technical scoping, solution design, quoting, and closing.
- Size pumps (TDH, NPSHa, slurry SG/percent solids), select motors/drives/seals, and spec dredge packages.
- Match excavators to attachments (reach, weight, hydraulics/flow/pressure) and advise on amphibious conversions and long sticks.
- Build and maintain pipeline in CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), track KPIs, and forecast accurately.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and rentals on availability, lead times, and delivery.

**Outside Sales**
- Conduct site walks and job assessments (mining, wastewater, marine, construction/dredging, dewatering).
- Run field demos, start-ups, and basic commissioning/support with our tech team.
- Develop distributor/contractor channels (dewatering contractors, dredging/rental houses, municipal/industrial).
- Represent the brands at trade shows and customer training events.

**Customer Outcomes You’ll Drive**
- Faster dewatering/dredging mobilizations with the right package first time.
- Lower total cost per cubic yard pumped / per shift moved.
- Reduced downtime via correct selection, spares kits, and operator training.

What Success Looks Like (First 90-180 Days)
- Build a qualified pipeline of **$3-5M**; close first **$750k-$1.5M** in bookings.
- Stand up repeatable quoting templates (pump sizing, excavator compatibility, float counts).
- Activate 2-4 channel partners and deliver at least one multi-unit rental or system sale through them.
- Positive customer NPS from first 5 deployments.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude: read **drawings, GD&T**, hydraulic schematics, and **pump curves**; comfortable with head loss and solids calculations.
- Proven full-cycle sales ownership (prospecting → close → post-sale follow-up).
- CRM discipline (Salesforce/HubSpot), solid quoting and margin math.
- Excellent communication; confident with operators on site and executives in the boardroom.
- **Bilingual English/Spanish** a strong plus (cross-border suppliers/customers).
- Willing and able to travel 25-50% (domestic/international) including industrial sites and vessels.

Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with **slurry handling**, dredging systems, amphibious excavators, or dewatering rentals.
- Familiar with coatings, abrasion-resistant materials, and mechanical seals for harsh slurries.
- Understanding of HDPE pipe systems, floats, and rigging/lift planning.
- Prior success launching or growing a territory/channel in LATAM or the Gulf Coast.
