Sr Production Supervisor

Descripción y detalle de las actividades The Sr. Production Supervisor will be a key contributor who will leverage his/her manufacturing experience and skills to lead production employees and support areas. This role will use the leadership skills to contribute to driving safety, productivity, and exceptional quality in the Fiber Glass facility environment, supplying & coordinating daily production schedules; oversee all parts of the following fiberglass truck cap/tonneau cover operations: gel & mold prep; lamination; pull, cut & grind. Spot-checks all areas for quality issues and makes appropriate adjustments. Works on streamlining production departments. Maintain excellent communication within the team. Also, management at any time can assign additional tasks Responsibilities: Provide Leadership and direction of the workforce, safety first in everything we do. Drive accountability to meet targets and deliverables with the operations workforce Participation in the organization and execution of all systems and processes required to reduce cost, improve quality, and deliver throughout company. 5s driven work areas and ability to sustain efforts Monitor process and product quality for compliance to standards that meet or exceed customer expectations Present proposals to peers and management. Develop cost savings proposals Perform Corrective and Preventative Problem Analysis Analyze and recommend future requirements related to manpower, machinery, tooling, equipment and floor space and the Implementation of new methods and processes Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate training for all employees with emphasis on quality, safety, and cross functional team training Research and implement "Best Manufacturing Practices” in conjunction with LEER Quality and Engineering standards Planning and budget preparation Use of financial and non-financial data to measure performance Ensure weekly standard work is completed to allow for successful support of value stream Experiência y requisitos - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. - A minimum of 5 years of experience as Supervisor in a senior level. - Knowledge of Composite manufacturing environment is a plus. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Bilingual in Spanish and English.
