Accounting and Tax Coordinator

Main responsibilities:
Financial Statements & Accounting Systems: Prepare, develop, and review financial statements and accounting information systems. Closing Process Leadership: Lead and coordinate the accounting closing process, ensuring accurate and complete data capture, provisions, and transactions. Account Reconciliations: Oversee monthly account reconciliations, ensuring proper documentation and identifying areas for improvement. Tax Calculation & Review: Calculate and review monthly and annual taxes, including current and deferred taxes. Tax Account Monitoring: Conduct periodic reviews of tax-related accounts (VAT, deferred taxes, etc.) to ensure compliance with fiscal regulations. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all tax regulations and fiscal compliance requirements. Tax Payment Management: Prepare and review municipal, state, and federal tax payments as required. Audit & Review Coordination: Handle requests, reviews, and audits conducted by tax authorities (SAT, IMSS) or internal/external auditors (statutory audits, transfer pricing studies, etc.). Fixed Assets Management: Supervise the accounting and depreciation of fixed assets. Payroll Transactions & Reconciliation: Ensure the correct registration of payroll transactions and provisions, leading the tax-accounting reconciliation process for payroll. Inventory Control & Audits: Support physical inventory counts, coordinating activities and analyzing discrepancies against accounting records. Internal Controls & Policies: Execute and oversee internal control activities, assisting in the development of policies and procedures.

What profile are we looking for?
- Education: Professional in Public Accounting or related
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in related positions
- Advanced Excel
