This is your opportunity to join STRATTEC as **MRO Purchasing Supervisor** with the following main functions:
“Coordinate the activities of the indirect purchasing department, including the purchase of equipment and special services, using purchasing strategies that streamline the internal process, obtaining the best possible value, either through price reduction or negotiation of payment terms and conditions. ”
And its main activities:
- Develop evaluations of potential suppliers.
- Issue purchase orders
- Implementation of procedures that reduce time, cost and quality; which ensure that MRO purchases are made at the lowest possible cost, with the required quality and in the indicated time.
- Achieve measurable savings according to annual objectives.
- Review MRO purchase orders for authorization and proper compliance with Strattec policy and procedures.
- Search for new alternatives for the products that are currently available.
What you need to fill the position:
- Bachelor's degree or Engineering completed, any option
- Minimum experience of 3 years in Supervision of MRO purchases
- Bilingual English - Spanish
- Experience supervising staff
- Experience in the maquiladora industry
The position is developed in plant 2, located at Julio Hernández 7939 Parque Industrial Aztecas, the main activity of the plant being the production and molding of automotive components such as starting systems, key fob's, Start buttons, electronic ignition modules and several solutions of Mechatronic control interface.
