**Senior Project Lead Engineer**:

Technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments classified as medium engineering complexity. Ensure that activities related to engineering discipline within the project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. The role of Senior Project Lead Engineer is crucial for the actual development of the product sold by ABB.

**This position reports to**:
Engineering Manager II

**Your responsibilities**:

- Evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks for challenges.
- Basic Team Management, (5 to 10 designers/engineers).
- Technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
- Works with customers to shape and deliver solutions, seeking feedback and innovating with the customer to drive and deliver improvements.
- Standard solutions oriented.
- Coaches project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, proto-typing and calculations.
- Assist customer on questions/comments regarding his product.
- Evaluates risks and opportunities, strategizes mitigation of one’s engineering projects/programs.
- Coaches' new designers/engineers.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical Engineering (desirable), Electro-Mechanical, Control or Automation, Mechanical-Electrician Engineer or similar.
- 5 years of experience working in similar position.
- Knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
- Deep knowledge of Medium Voltage GIS Switchgear.
- Advanced level of English.
