Are you an analytical thinker, who can turn data into insights into an engaging story which will drive action? As a **Workforce Analytics Partner **for AstraZeneca you’ll have the rare opportunity to use your expertise to influence the strategy of a global biopharmaceutical FTSE 100 company.

It’s a time of rapid change at AstraZeneca as we pursue market leadership in our core therapeutic areas. You can expect considerable visibility, as you partner with senior leaders to ensure that data and analytics drive workforce decisions and workforce planning. With a mix of business partnering, technical leadership and the delivery of high-quality global analytical outputs, the role also offers a firm platform for career development.

**Main duties and responsibilities**

You’ll partner with senior leaders on all aspects of workforce analytics and workforce planning, as well as working with business areas to identify and predict future people and business needs. You’ll be developing analytical models to address critical strategic challenges, continually improving our core processes and using your understanding of technical solutions to enhance analytics. Supporting and challenging the wider AstraZeneca community to enhance their analytical capability will also form part of your role.

**Essential requirements**
- An analytical thinker with a strong ability to manipulate and interpret complex data
- An agile learner with strong problem-solving and system-thinking skills
- An ability to use data and analytics to drive workforce planning
- Technical ability to continuously improve our tools and technologies, to support our journey towards predictive analytics
- Comfortable working with different teams, across both HR and the business
- Strong business acumen, articulate, able to influence at senior levels
- Be able to tell a story with data, through both compelling narrative and impactful visuals
- Although data science skills are not essential, the ability to work with and guide data scientists to reach a business-relevant outcome is key
- Supporting and challenging the wider AstraZeneca community as we move towards a more data-driven culture
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and a strong customer orientation
- A prior understanding of how the people agenda, and specifically organizational design can drive business performance is desirable but not essential.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 7 plus years experience
