Major Responsibilities:
Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and refine CNC machining, lathe, machining center, and grinding processes to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support for CNC machining operations, including programming, setup, and troubleshooting.
- Quality Control: Ensure all machining and grinding processes meet stringent quality standards. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any deviations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and upgrading of CNC machines, lathes, machining centers, and grinding equipment. Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Training & Development: Mentor and train junior engineers and production staff on CNC machining and grinding best practices.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to CNC machining and grinding, including new product introductions and process enhancements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of machining and grinding processes
- Review and ensure that all production processes are properly documented using the official standards for ISO system. Identify documents that need to be updated and document all new process implemented.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience (3-5 years’ experience)
- Self-directed, proactive, decision taker.
- Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma within 3 years.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques, blueprints, tolerances and results interpretations.
- Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations
- Well-versed in relevant software (e.g. Master cam, Solidworks, Gcode, MS Office)
- Problem-solving ability
- Teamwork skills
- Ability to work late shifts and role.
- Knowledge of advanced product quality planning (APQP) and production part approval process (PPAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
