As we expand our footprint, we are looking for a **Sales Executive** with a strong commercial drive and industry knowledge to help us grow our client base and close high-value deals.
**Role Objective** |
Identify, engage, and convert strategic commercial opportunities in the logistics and transportation sector, helping position Happymile Logistics as a top-tier dedicated carrier for regulated and sensitive cargo.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prospect and qualify new B2B clients in sectors such as oil & gas, chemicals manufacturing, construction & dry bulk, automotive & aerospace, high tech & electronics, farmers & produce, pharma, food & beverage, manufacturers & wholesalers, retail & e-commerce
- Manage the complete sales cycle: cold outreach, discovery, proposal development,
negotiations, and deal closing
- Build customized logistics solutions based on client needs and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain strong long-term client relationships
- Maintain accurate records of gales activity in CRM systems
- Work closely with operations and compliance teams to ensure alignment between service capabilities and client expectations
- Represent Happymile at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or related industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
- Must be eligible to travel to the United States (Valid identification required)
- Fluent in English; Spanish is required
- Flexibility to travel
- Solid knowledge of the U.S. trucking market and regional freight dynamics in Texas with cross border experience to México
- Proven track record in business development and closing high-ticket deals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Self-driven and highly organized, with a strong focus on results
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital sales platforms
