Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Automation Manager located in Juarez Sur.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Automation Manager’s role involves:
What a typical day looks like:

- Take leadership during the entire life cycle of automation projects, from concept to feasibility and from fabrication and test to production.
- Design the layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency and safety.
- Develop budget and schedule for projects and manage projects to stay within them. Able to quickly cost analyze and work up the financial justification for automating.
- Manage automation suppliers through all phases of projects.
- Supervise installation and testing to verify requirements and specifications are met.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Advanced English
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree.
- Develop manufacturing solutions with the best combination of manual, semi-automation and/or full automation. Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow.
- Implement cost effective automation solution.
- Participate in design reviews and provide status reports as per established schedule.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to the operation of the automation equipment.
