**Salary Classification**:

- Responsible for motors, electromechanics and plastic components and supply-base.
- Defining a supplier strategy in cooperation with Purchasing based on technology roadmaps on global base.
- Negotiate and track quality requirements towards suppliers.
- Implementing technology specific Quality Category Requirements, including Lessons learned & read across to.
- Releasing new suppliers and technologies based on VDA 6.3 audits for implementing and complying to IATF and VDA standards.
- Lead Supplier Improvement Programs, including managing escalations.
- Contributing to the supplier related quality report of the organization.
- Lead Supplier component reviews and contribute to sourcing decision.
- Perform APQP with supplier and ensure in time release of purchased components.
- Perform Risk Assessment in case of deviation and drive risk minimization.
- Release change management within series phase.

**Your profile**:

- Academic degree in electronic or technical field or similar qualification.
- Experience in electronics or electromechanics components or manufacturing.
- Professional experience in Supplier Quality Management (SQM) for dedicated technology.
- Several years of professional experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or production as well as escalation management preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of processes along the Product Life Cycle (PLC) as well as of Quality tools and processes (e.g. VDA, 8D, A3, APQP, product safety requirements).
- Secure handling of MS Office software.
- Fluent English language skills written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel.
- Capability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Very good communication and negotiation skills, including strong decision-making techniques.
- Open-mindedness and networking skills.
