Job ID: 27090- Location: Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, MX**Advanced Purchasing Specialist AP****Job ID**:27090**Location**:MX-JA-Santa Anita-Vitesco IIDescription:- Provide cost estimates to sales department of Bill of Materials for new acquisitions.- Define and execute strategy on every new awarded business to achieve established targets.- Involvment of suppliers at the design stage. Follow-up on supplier and material status.- Drives and controls the change management process for components towards the suppliers and CM/SQM.- Analyze future material needs of BUs and be responsible for technical changes until SOP"- Responsible to control the sourcing process for pre-selection of supplier. Requests for quotation.- Ensures availability of NDA with each involved supplier- Implement advanced negotiation concepts on sourcing to maximize benefit.- Supports final negotiations in conjunction with Catergory Purchasing.- Ensures in time Supplier Component Review e.g. by organizing/inviting the meetings.- Creates and updates the Sourcing Documentation until official e-sign.- Identify and develop local or Best Cost Country suppliersts.- Drive marker research activities for new technologies/solutions.- To recommend components derivatives and component or production process innovations to the project team and other interface partners.- Effectively cooperate with CAT purchasing, following given sourcing and suppliers strategies."- Organize and handover sourcing documentation to Plant Purchasing.**Requirements**:- University degree in Engineering or relevant professional experience- 2-3 years of experience in purchasing functions or 2-3 years of project experience- Capability to operate with different cultures- Experience in working with international teams on purchasing issues- Understanding for different foreign cultures (America, Asia, several Europe cultures)- Excelent communication skills in English.**Working Time**: Full time**Business Unit**: VT Purchasing**Department**: VT PUR Plants**Your Contact Partner**: TANIA ARACELI PALOSVitesco Technologies is a leading international developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art powertrain technologies for sustainable mobility.
