**TITLE**: Engineering Manager

**FUNCTION**: Provides technical support for the manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and tooling support functions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Direct, review, or approve project design changes.
- Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients.
- Develop or implement policies, standards, or procedures for engineering and technical work.
- Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
- Confer with management, production, or marketing staff to discuss project specifications or procedures.
- Assure and maintain safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations.
- Review engineering changes to coordinate design changes, correct process drawings and routings for modifications, and ensure implementation on production floor.
- Maintain an awareness of technical progress in production processes, tooling methods, and equipment to seek improvements to production delivery.
- Recommend and coordinate implementation of product and process changes to reduce costs/or improve manufacturability and product quality.
- Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ working experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Self-motivated and well organized

Salario: A partir de $1.00 al mes
