**About the Job**:
The Marketing & Sales team drives strategic customer development, focusing on expanding business opportunities and enhancing existing relationships.
The **Inside Account Representative**manages bids, contracts, and compliance while supporting customers with logistics tools and service solutions. This position also ensures accurate reporting, credit vetting, and promotes end-to-end service efficiency aligned with trade and regional goals.

**Responsibilities**:
- ** Business Development & Customer Relations -**Develop & vet new opportunities, maintain & improve upon the value of existing business & customer relations for assigned portfolio based upon Trade & Regional sales plan objectives.
- ** Sales Plan -**Manage, execute & deliver continuous improvement with focus towards improving volume, contribution and customer value base on trade, region& yield management guidelines.
- ** Bids & Contracts -** Develop strategies, negotiate, prepare & audit for accuracy. Implement & monitor MQC performance, utilize data & systems tools to assist in MQC fulfillment (DRT/OB Tracker) as well as teams' meetings & presentations to supplement remote functionality.
- ** Administration & Training -** Meet assigned deadlines while managing with compliance based on OOCL standards. Maintain customer records, manage reporting inapplicable sales tools including CIP & Iris.
- ** Compliance & Regulatory -** Adhere to and role model OOCL competition compliance policies & procedures both externally & internally. Focus on avoiding potential fraud by following cybersecurity protocols to the letter.
- ** Competition, Market & Segment Conditions, Customer Reporting -**Report & suggest strategies to improve our current & future market position.
- ** Rate Structures & Service Contract knowledge -**Investigate and resolve issues related to “no-rates-on-file”, COD and Bill of lading discrepancies.
- ** Qualify & Process Requests, Trade Offered Rates -**Utilize internal guidelines& systems when applicable. Create SVI's & AB's as necessary, alone or in accordance with NAGC Shanghai or Freight Smart.
- ** Guide & train customers to use self -**Service tools (i.e. Freight Smart MOC) & direct customers to the appropriate teams or channels to help with booking, contract, BL issues, etc. Show customers how to read & use their contracts to minimize troubleshooting, rate inquiries & disputes.
- ** P**romote End-To-End Business -**When possible, with existing & prospective clients.
**Qualifications**:
- 1 year or more experience in Inside Sales.
- Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite.
- Effective verbal & written communication with others to exchange information in English.
