The Insurance Operations Associate lll is responsible for facilitating achievement of service level agreements by mentoring peers, reviewing,
verifying and processing complex insurance-related documentation and updating system of record as required.

**Key Responsabilities**:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- Process multiple insurance-related documentation queues by reviewing and verifying complex data, resolving exceptions and updating clients’ systems of record to ensure accuracy and completeness of database information
- Facilitate success of insurance operations team by resolving basic escalated issues and guiding peers on best practices to increase effectiveness and efficiency of processing functions
- Deliver on service level agreements by completing high volume of data entry and processing multiple insurance-related documentation queues quickly and accurately to meet department quality and productivity standards
- Develop and enhance insurance operations skills and knowledge by participating in cross-training and taking personal initiative for learning additional procedures to support multiple workflows and assist with complex, critical and time-sensitive processes
- Mentor peers by sharing knowledge and providing advice and assistance
- Perform data entry to keep logs, records and files up-to-date and readily accessible

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job does not have supervisory duties

JOB REQUIREMENTS

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 1 or more years of experience

Functional Skills:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to utilize established procedures to guide decision-making
