**ROLE SUMMARY**
**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**.
Work as a business partner for the US RGM Team, by providing key commercial insights, thus assisting in ensuring that the end market growth activities contribute to the financial success and effective resource allocation decisions are made across the value chain.
Analytics which generate value added insights and foresights is a key lever in driving sustainable and efficient business growth in today’s evolving CPG environment. Understanding revenue growth / marketing spend effectiveness and how to drive net sales, profit, market, and volume share most efficiently is vital to delivering our overall business objectives. We are looking for a passionate individual who is excited by analytics to insights and innovation vs. the status quo to join our GBS Commercial team.
This role, along with RGM Assortment team, will manage assortment optimization engine data ingestion, wholesaler product libraries, product images library, assortment planning quality assurance, and provide technical support to automate planograms at scale. This role will support the RGM assortment & mix and support assortment projects; ensure planogram design aligns with RGM, retailer and trade marketing strategy and provide oversight to ensure quality of execution.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Understand strategies and initiatives that will accelerate revenue growth (RGM)
- Serve as an extension of the RGM Team with an understanding of the business and how to enable sustainable net revenue growth
- Leverage analytical tools by integrating different sources of information for data driven decisions
- Conduct analyses to drive velocity and net revenue growth
- Develop a deep understanding of assortment strategies, internal processes, and overall technical requirements
- Oversee assortment product dimension, fixtures, and images libraries with corresponding wholesaler product identification ID’s as well as updates to supporting datasets
- Assume a supporting role as part of the Assortment team as it applies to data requirements, data validation, schematics quality, and overall merchandising plans for assigned projects
- Work cross-functionally with several departments in execution of tests, rollouts, and resets
- Assist in solving planograms and merchandising issues within established timeframes
- Work collaboratively with internal partners to develop and activate assortment strategies and tactics for the Tobacco category.
- Conducts customer deliverables as necessary.
- Identify best practices and standardize where possible
- Work collaboratively with external/internal partners to develop and activate assortment strategies and tactics for the Tobacco and New categories regardless of geographical location
- Play an active role as a member of relevant GBS team, ensuring continuous improvement in all required capabilities (with emphasis on strong analytical skills). Support the relevant leaders in this through combination of existing team development and new appointments
- Able to effectively operate in a matrix organization with high level of change
- Communicate data analysis effectively to key stakeholders regardless of geographic and cultural differences
**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE**
**ESSENTIAL**
**Experience Required**
- 1 year of professional experience with experience in revenue management, category management, assortment and space planning, customer planning, sales strategy, merchandising with emphasis on Tobacco industry or FMCGs
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Knowledge and experience in reviewing, validating performance data
- Time management as projects will adhere to strict deadlines and deliverables
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written, to have the appropriate level of interaction with stakeholders with required follow ups.
- Must be able to manage confidential information.
- Effectively engage cultural diverse stakeholders while being geographically away
**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- Programming concepts understanding is desirable
- Use of Data Visualization Tools and development of dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) is desirable
- Able to work with technical analysis such as regressions, clustering, classification, dimensionality reduction, collaborative filtering is a plus
