- Position scope/summary

The Continuous Improvement Technician is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Lean manufacturing program in the plant; the position assists in the deployment of improvement methodologies and tools. Evaluates the lines of the different Value Stream, in terms of 5S implementation, as well as having the logistics of TIV (Tus Ideas Valen) and what this entails. Provide support in the training of methodologies and tools of continuous improvement to employees of different levels of the plant.
- Essential duties and responsibilities
- Active participation on Kaizen Events assigned.
- Participate on Integer Production System (IPS) deployment.
- Plan and execute 5S assessment on production lines.
- Execute recognition ceremonies for improvement programs.
- Responsible on quantification and follow up for TIV (Tus Ideas Valen) program.
- Induction for new hires on the 5S and suggestion ideas programs.

Train personnel on 5S, 8 Wastes, Value Added and TIV process.
