As a DATA SPECIALIST, you will part of the Center of Excellence (COE) and you will be responsible for Processes, Analytics and Reporting. The Data Specialist will play a key role in delivering data driven analytical solutions for Global Procurement. The position will report directly to the Global Procurement Analytics Manager, Data Science.

The COE operates globally across all spend categories including the following:

- Raw Material, Indirect materials, Logistics
- All PPG business units
- All manufacturing plants

**Key Responsibilities**
- Translate business requirements into data model(s) and Analytical reports
- Simplifying analysis using effective Power BI data visualizations
- Knowledge and experience in collecting requirements, functional design, testing and working with business processes
- Designing and producing effective dashboards which promote data driven decision-making
- Ensuring data models, queries and processes are optimized and automated
- Strong business relationships with business and technical teams within assigned area

**Qualifications**
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, design, development, and implementation of analytical dashboards using Power BI and DAX (must)
- English intermediate to proficient
- Proven experience with hands-on business analysis and system testing experience
- Experience with data bricks, snowflake, data storytelling and visualization technologies
- Ability to optimally participate in or potentially lead teams
- Ability to handle and act as an effective fast paced team member, problem solving
