**Summary**:VES is looking for an **Maintenance Technician** to join our team in our **Matamoros,Tamaulipas** location. This person will work and be responsible with assisting in overseeing and managing all aspects of the accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, accounts payable and disbursements, and cash management.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following**. Other duties may be assigned.
- Implement 5s in their equipment, areas and tools.
- Execute the corresponding TPM activities.
- Perform corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance in a timely manner as a method for the elimination or reduction of downtime.
- Reduce machine and equipment downtime through continuous improvement.
- Root cause analysis.
- Documenting each WO and keeping the SAP system 100% up to date.
- Identify energy efficiency projects.
- Keep up to date any logbook indicated by the supervisor or maintenance engineer of the area.
- Participate in shift start-up, production or maintenance meetings if required.
- Propose improvements in work methods and work with supervisor to validate and implement them.
- Comply with the directions of your area supervisor.

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Technical or professional career and/or experience
- 3 years of experience in industrial mechanics.
