The _Technical Consumer Research Specialist _will be an integral part of the LATAM OU Technical Consumer Research team reporting to the Director of Technical Consumer Research.

The **TCR (**_Technical Consumer Research)_** Specialist **will work as part of **TCR LATAM** team, to develop and execute robust Sensory & Consumer Science protocols across the organization and support RD&I LATAM Operating Unit. This role is responsible for designing and implementing research design and effectively managing resources to ensure we create optimal product people love.

As TCR Specialist position is responsible to guide and drive sensory & consumer research activities and projects in alignment with business opportunities and corporate strategies:
1) Lead initiatives of sensory & consumer research projects by utilizing various sensory, qualitative and quantitative methodologies with close collaboration in defining research brief, methodology approach, questionnaire design, vendor audit, and outcome final results.

2) Drive early stages of the product development process, including screening phase, prototyping and product testing, also conduct collaborative studies with global TCR teams,

3) Drive sensory methodologies responding deep product knowledge using appropriate statistical analysis,

4) Engage market research agencies to effectively launch consumer testing in controlled quality, scientific statistical and cost-effective way.

**What You’ll Do for Us**
- Mainly develop Sensory & Consumer testing for all specific LATAM projects or initiatives: innovations, continuity, productivity, regulatory and trouble-shooting.
- Responsible for development sensory protocols and response to project screeners /questionnaires/discussion guides, analysis, helping to create written report/presentation that provide insights and recommendations.
- Work with statistical analysis including the appropriate use of specific techniques to analyze and interpret data (including parametric and non-parametric methods, ANOVA, and modeling tools).
- Keep develop our external sensory panel, monitoring performance for sensory panelist, prepare trainings and keep motivation for the panelist group.
- Generate and maintain chemical/sensory references (physical and digital inventory) for internal sensory panels.
- Establish strong connectivity with LATAM OU Human Insights and marketing teams.
- Leverage project management routines to communicate and deliver global / regional / local TCR analysis.
- Identify resourcing requirements to deliver global, regional, and local initiatives.

**Qualification & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree food science or sensory & consumer science, chemistry or applied statistics or business-related field required.
- Knowledge in Sensory & Consumer Science and Market Research Agencies network to facilitate work in house.
- Spanish and English are required;
- Proven excellence statistical skills (parametrical & non-parametrical, experimental design, hypothesis / significant testing).
- Must possess 3-4 years of working knowledge of sensory and consumer testing principles and methods including discriminative & descriptive analysis (DA) and some consumer testing methods.
- Working knowledge of basic statistics including the appropriate use of statistical technique to analyze and interpret data. General understanding on the use of experimental designs.
- Competent in the use of best practices to provide quality data to support research objectives including basic principles of data and intellectual property management.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of fundamental food science, product development and manufacturing experience a plus.
- Demonstrates high attention to detail, hands-on mind-set, effective time management, pro-active disposition and be a flexible team player.
- Strong project documentation skills.
