Product Data Analyst

We are hiring a
**Product Data Analyst** who will work with the Product Development teams to support new product launches, maintain existing product data, and provide general run the business support. This role is part of the Global IT Applied Data Enablement Organization/Product Launch & Support.

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Designs, loads, and validates SAP rules containing executable code and variant configurations in support of the product development, order fulfillment, life-cycle maintenance, customer service, specials, pricing, order planning and scheduling, inventory management and electronic catalog processes.
- Uses Product Data Management (PDM) technical proficiency components to analyze, conceptualize, organize, and load product information with a high degree of precision, accuracy, and speed within the Steelcase product database environment to support the ordering, pricing, manufacture, and distribution of Steelcase products.
- Actively seeks to identify, design, validate, and document new technology, techniques, and processes to improve the effectiveness and productivity of Product Data and other functional areas.
- Ensures consistency between database and publications with emphasis on data integrity, providing efficient order specification, pricing, manufacturing, and shipping for improved product profitability and dealer/customer satisfaction.

**Who You Are**:
**Required Skills and Competencies**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related required.
- Advanced English is a must.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, SAP(S4/HANA and ECC 6.0), Excel, Windchill and various Mass Loading Tools for Data Loading.
- 2-5 Years of experience in a similar role.

**Preferred Skills and Competencies**
- Ability to analyze, conceptualize, and logically organize database information with a high degree of precision and accuracy.
- Ability to analyze and root cause reported errors in SAP and define database, systems, or procedural solutions.
- Able to interact with individuals at all levels globally with diverse cultures.
- Must be idea and solution driven with an understanding of problem-solving techniques that show results.
- Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM or Kanban) environment is preferred.
