**The Role**:
**What You’ve Done**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- **3-5 years of professional experience in software development.**:

- **3+ years of experience using Python and PostgreSQL.**:

- **1+ years with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.**

**Who You Are**:
Technical Skills:

- Proficient in Python programming language.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including writing complex SQL queries, designing
- schemas, and performance tuning.
- **Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.**:

- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

**Nice to Haves**:

- Experience with other programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, or C#.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.

**What You’ll Do**:
Develop and Maintain Software Applications:

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

Database Management:

- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and procedures.
- Ensure data integrity and performance tuning of PostgreSQL databases.
- Collaborate with the data team to integrate and manage databases effectively.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

Ensure Best Practices:

- Follow agile development practices.
- Maintain thorough documentation of development processes and code.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in software development and database management.
