The Sales and Marketing Assistant will work with the sales team to support the business. The Sales and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks related to the sales process. This role is critical in ensuring that our sales team has the tools and resources they need to be successful.
The Sales and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for helping create presentations or other materials that help salespeople better understand their customers’ needs and how best to meet them, as well as developing suitable marketing material, preparing proposals, and analyzing sales and marketing metrics.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Analyzing market trends, sales, marketing metrics, and pricing strategies to identify ways to improve sales and marketing efforts.
- Developing effective sales strategies to increase company sales.
- Prepare sales and marketing reports to include weekly management reports.
- Performing administrative tasks such as answering phones, greeting clients, and scheduling appointments
- Collecting and analyzing data about customer preferences and buying habits for targeted marketing purposes
- Preparing marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and catalogs
- Utilizing social media platforms to garner customer interest and create brand awareness, especially LinkedIn.
- Preparing sales forecast reports and submitting them to management.
**Skills and qualifications**:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within and across the company
- Well-organized and flexible.
- Strong ability to act independently with sound business judgment.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, and attention to details
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with warehouse, small parcel, and shipping solutions terminology and the shipping process is preferred.
- Excellent written, and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in sales and marketing.
- Experience in Marketing / Sales environment
