**Responsibilities**:

- Handling Incoming Shipments: Receiving and documenting incoming packages, parcels, and supplies; inspecting them for damage or discrepancies; verifying the accuracy of contents against manifests or purchase orders; storing items in the appropriate areas and updating records.
- Preparing Outgoing Shipments: Preparing items for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and creating necessary documentation such as shipping labels and bills of lading; scheduling pick-ups and deliveries with carriers.
- Inventory Management: Tracking inventory, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock; performing inventory counts or audits and reporting any discrepancies or shortages.
- Warehouse Operations: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace; operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods; ensuring adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Communication: Interacting with vendors, drivers, logistics technicians, and customer service representatives to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
- Administrative Tasks: Completing required documentation, such as daily log sheets, delivery receipts, and packing slips; managing online scheduling systems; handling customer complaints or inquiries related to shipping.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Education: A high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment or similar role required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

**Work Environment**:

- Warehouse or distribution center setting. The environment can be fast-paced and may involve exposure to various conditions, such as temperature extremes and loud machinery. Safety precautions and proper use of protective equipment are essential.
