Job Title
Data Management Manager

Position Purpose

To be the business partner of the business analysis areas, defining the guidelines for data management and reporting, with a corporate governance approach. Responsible for aligning corporate tools for proper use in Mexico, accelerating the adoption of new analytical platforms implemented in the US. Evaluate and define the technical, functional, and resource requirements for all information analysis projects. Mapping, traceability, and documentation of data sources to facilitate access to analysts.

Primary Accountabilities
- Designing and implementing corporate data governance model, enabling new data management tools, and upgrading servers and migration processes.
- Guarantee and monitor the practices, policies, and roles related to the acquisition, administration, and effective use of data, avoiding duplication of reports and metrics.
- Manage the deliverables related to the analysis for all the key initiatives, enabling the rules for the unification and collaboration of the data.
- Diagnose processing resources (servers) to execute on time the analysis and reports requested by the organization.
- Expert in the use of the analytics framework (Google Cloud Platform) to align the use of functionalities for each type of analysis, adopting the best practices of BI-US.
- Consolidate Executive KPIs in an official centralized repository.

Education & Experience
Level of Formal Education: A Master's degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Software Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics or comparable field.
Years of Experience: Five to seven years.
Type of Experience: Implementation and management of decision-making systems, data warehouses, data lakes, business intelligence, and data governance. Collaboration in a Business Intelligence Center of Excellence.Project management, knowledge of agile methodologies. Relationship with managers and directors. Migration from On-Premise to Cloud solutions.
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Google Cloud Plaform(Big Query, Looker, Datastudio), Data Engineer, Data Architect, Data Quality, Master Data Management, ETL, Cloud Solutions, Project Manager, OLAP Cubes, Datalake, Data Pipelines
Other/Preferred: SAS, SQL, Integration Services,Analysis Services, Informatica PowerCenter, Alation, Talend, Datastage, Phyton, Tableau.
