Position Responsibilities
Ensure an optimized finished goods (packaged) supply plan for North America based on business demand and capacity of the supply chain. Trading off between:
Stock availability
Inventory
Supply associated costs (Logistics, Production)
Leads and Executes
Inventory Strategies and Policies as defined by the Production Planning Supervisor, Network Planning and Inventory Analytics teams
RCCP/Constrained Production Plan (4 weeks in advance) and release execution buckets (1 week in advance) to the plants considering
Capacity (machine & manpower)
Raw material availability
A balanced demand supply horizon in the RCCP horizon by Discussing/Aligning
Demand with Customer Service
Supply with the site leads/schedulers
Provide Supply/Inventory input into the Management Business Review (MBR) to support the S&OP/IBP process
Ensure coherence between our packaging supply chain capabilities and the expected service level to the market (SLA)
Leads the facilitation of the continuous improvement of
Packaged goods service level
Plants On Time In Full (OTIF)
Plants Productivity
Inventory & Obsoletes
Act as the point of contact for any finished good supply-related topic, including tactical revision of the plan to accommodate business needs
Serves as a liaison between sales, operations, purchasing and customer service.
Troubleshoots delays, shortages or quality issues and adjusts plans as needed.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience & Skills)
Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2 - 4 years of experience in production planning.
Thorough understanding of end to end Supply Chain.
SAP experience (Procurement and/or Supply Planning).
Advanced Supply Planning tools knowledge (SAP APO SNP, JDA/Blueyonder Fulfillment...) is desirable.
Lean Six Sigma knowledge is desirable
Able to operate at regional level
Strong computer and analytical skills
Bilingual English / Spanish
