**The Role**:The Strategic Projects and Business Development Manager is a high-impact position where you will define and execute strategic projects to increase revenue, profitability, and efficiency as well as to attain operational excellence in everything we do. Think of it as a mixture of an intrapreneur and an in-house, multi-vertical consulting position where you will define what and how work should get done at Birdman as well as executionally jumpstarting new ventures, product lines, and geographical expansion projects. Organizationally, this position will have high exposure as it will report directly to C-Level Suite and have in-project dashed lines of authority over the different working verticals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead strategic projects, from inception to execution, in order to increase revenue, profitability, and efficiency.
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities in the food and beverage industry and others and create go-to-market plans to capitalize on them.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to assess strategic projects' viability and potential impact.
- Act as a project manager to jumpstart new venture and expansion projects while they gain traction and enough complexity to hand them over to the operational verticals of the company.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products, services, and processes.
- Conduct process assessments across various departments to identify areas for improvement and increased operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement consulting-like projects aimed at streamlining processes, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity
- Implement systems and automation to make the company run more smoothly.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to stay ahead of the competition.
- Work closely with the company's marketing and sales teams to formulate and execute strategies.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders, including management, investors, and clients.
- Identify optimization and process opportunities and execute projects to capitalize on them.
- Support information gathering and preparation for business planning, goal-setting, and capital raising.
**Requirements**:
**Basic**
- Master's Degree. MBA preferred. Top GPA valued.
- 3+ years of experience in strategic business development, consulting, general management, or a related field. Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
- Alternatively, a top GPA MBA graduate from a top Business School and or senior experience at a top employer such as Amazon, Google, or a top consulting firm.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging business opportunities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, market research, and industry reports to inform strategic decision-making.
- Full-English professional proficiency.

- Great presentation and drafting skills.
- Process orientation and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with project management tools and methods.
