**The Role**:
The specialist's role is to manage the collective business performance of their assigned Market Area managing sales and inventory improvement. BDS role is to support, develop, coordinate, and execute business plan strategies within sales distribution and inventory to meet/exceed all metrics, including:

- Vehicle Allocation
- Retail Sales
- Vehicle Scheduling

The BDS will serve as a contact for client management responsibilities for the program, along with the Client Relationship Managers (CRMs). The BDS is the key supporting role to the SDMM within the market area. The BDS is responsible to provide Business Leadership and Expertise as a resource to the Sales & Inventory Specialists for instruction, training, and assistance in growing the Business.

- Dealer Communication Process: Develop and Implement Tools _**:

- Create and update monthly sales expectancy file by zone, by dealer to determine stores facing greatest “pump in.”
- Coordinate the implementation of the monthly Dealer Business Snapshot and Dealer discussions.
- Develop webcast materials for zone manager dealer meetings.
- New Sales & Inventory Specialist training/mentoring _
- Assist CRM/SDMM in developing new sales & inventory specialists, focusing on systems, reports and processes that impact key metrics
- Ensure the sales & inventory specialists prioritize tasks and workload according to key Company initiatives.
- Allocation _
- Assist in wholesale when needed and help manage post wholesale communication
- Manage tracking and tracing of vehicles
- Manage COVP
- Drive SVA and manage aged inventory: Determine areas of opportunity (Aged retail scheduling and inventory, low SVA vs. facing Region, etc.) to improve performance and achieve 2A6
- Sales _
- Provide regional sales updates and provide sales close support
- Deliver monthly Regional 2A6 objective: Inventory analyses/trick by Zone vs. Regions
- Lead development of sales estimates
- Scheduling _
- Order Bank maintenance
- Facilitate Priority scheduling
- Own Specialty vehicles
- Commodity management
- SROs / SIMS
- RGOs
- MP1 and early builds
- Scheduling sorts (IA online)
- Facilitate Traces
- Support Ramp Holds / Divert / Rebills both regions and Market Rep

**What You'll Need**:

- Bachelor of Administration, International Business, Industrial or Related.
- 5+ years of experience in regional sales updates, sales and inventory
- Negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with accuracy under pressures of time and workload
- Customer service mindset
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point, Alteryx.
- Strong analytical skills
- Proactive, Good Listener, Team Player, Smart Work Ethic
- Own Working Together and Deliver Results
