Team Overview:
If you are passionate about business, data and entrepreneurship, DiDi invites you to face the great challenges of the Spanish Speaker LATAM Safety team as an analyst. We develop data analysis, business insights and product initiatives to improve the user’s experience and prevent safety incidents while using DiDi’s ride hailing services. Be prepared for a hectic, fast-paced and challenging environment.
Role Responsibilities:

- Think creatively on how to use data to optimize the functioning of different strategies around Safety in the platform, some including AI or ML models, with the goal of generating insights and new ideas to enhance incidents prevention supported by data analysis
- Use data to build meaningful insights and understanding of our incidents prevention processes, as well as to understand users’ experience and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate the deployment of new product features, and take the lead on finding new disruptive ones
- Analyze the operational, business, and safety feasibility of DiDi new launches
- Work cross-functionally and globally with other teams across central operations, products, city teams, etc.
Role Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in a quantitative discipline: engineering, economics, actuary, statistics, computer science, etc.
- 3+ years of work experience, ideally in data analytics, risk management, business operations or/and consulting.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking is a must.
- Intermediate in SQL is strongly recommended.Python and/or is required
- Data visualization tools are nice to have
- Ensure collaboration with multiple stakeholders to improve operational productivity & user experience
- Comfortable working in a geographically distributed and cross-functional, multicultural environment
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
