Key Responsibilities:
This role is part of Alcon's Information Technology function, a team that delivers cutting-edge technology solutions to Alcon associates and customers to help our people and the world see brilliantly.The Principal I, IT Business Systems Analysis (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex business systems, working with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with strategic business goals.

Specifics Include:

- Lead the design and implementation of large-scale IT systems that meet business objectives and are scalable for growth
- Act as the primary point of contact for business and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to analysts and other project team members
- Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and align with long-term business strategies
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
- Lead high-impact IT systems analysis projects with significant business implications
- Make high-level decisions related to IT system design and architecture, ensuring systems are designed to meet future business needs
- Provide input on business strategy and align IT solutions with business goals.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

- Proven experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System (WMS) modules (Functional exp, integration exp), including inbound/outbound operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and integrations with ERP and other supply chain systems.
- Ability to configure, customize, and optimize Manhattan Active WMS to meet business requirements, including process automation, workflow setup, and system-directed putaway and replenishment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting system issues, optimizing warehouse processes, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy within Manhattan Active WMS.
- Ability to train end-users and super users on Manhattan Active WMS functionalities, provide ongoing support, and document best practices.
- Experience with continuous software updates, cloud-native architecture, and leveraging AI-driven features for real-time inventory visibility and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or support successful Manhattan Active WMS deployment projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, logistics) and managing change effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Waterfall methodologies as applied to Manhattan Active WMS projects.
- Experience interfacing third-party logistics providers (3PL) and warehouse management/control systems with SAP ECC is an advantage.
- Experience implementing/supporting warehouse automation (Knapp, Auto Store, Geek+) is preferred.
- Ability to conceptualize and articulate solutions within the existing framework and future business needs.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and Waterfall methodologies and adherence to these methodologies.
- Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and documenting system changes.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and fluently communicate in English.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a positive and timely manner.

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
