Introduction to Role:
AstraZeneca, a global, science-led, patient-focused pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for our Operations team in Guadalajara. We are dedicated to the discovery, development, and commercialization of prescription medicines for some of the world's most serious diseases. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will analyze different aspects of supply chain performance and evaluate opportunities for improvement, specifically relating to inventory. Your immediate focus area will be inventory analysis where you will be responsible to evaluate, analyze and report on the Company inventory and recommend changes to inventory policies and processes. Scope will be across all regions and Brands.
Accountabilities:
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will analyze, report on and evaluate performance on all aspects of AZ Inventory and Forecasts compared to phased budget and long range plan for statutory and reporting purposes. You will develop and improve the Inventory, Planning and Forecasting processes, Inventory Modeling and scenario evaluation. You will also work with Demand and Supply planners to understand the impact of demand and supply variability on inventory and explore opportunities to improve inventory performance.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- A Masters Degree in Statistics / Engineering (MIS, Computers Science), or bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience
- Significant experience in Supply Chain Environment (Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain Management)
- Excellent inventory management skills and modeling techniques including Multi Echelon Inventory Optimization.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience in data analytics
