Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams, which build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Global Project Leader located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Sr Director Mechanicals, The Global Project leader role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects within the organization. The PMO will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve project efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
- Leads project planning, resource management, reporting, and implementation of Global RES projects, initiatives, systems deployment
- Manages technical projects, ensuring all project deliverables are met.
- Collaborates with various departments, sites and global teams to ensure successful project execution
- Performance Measurement and Reporting, design and develop performance measurements, metrics, and dashboards to provide analytical insights to all key stakeholders, customers, executive leadership.
- Ensure that all project handover activities, including manuals and training, are completed successfully.
- Use Technical Project Management experience to improve all aspects of project planning, resource management, reporting, solution evaluation, and implementation.
- Solve technical problems by implementing preventative controls, conducting data analysis, identifying RCA & developing effective control plans
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS/MBA in engineering or equivalent work experience. DFX, DFM, NPI Projects, OKRs, SHIELD, project management dashboards, metrics management
- VAVE project reporting, tracking
- Advanced English level.
- Sr experience in an engineer or project position.
- Internal and external customer service attitude.
- Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries, or functions, and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
- Understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.
- MS Project and Excel knowledge.
- Finance, Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
- Metals or mechanicals Experience
