Manufacturing Category Buyer Supervisor

**My Role**:

- Lead the category buyer team (5-6) members in M&E and Consumable category to achieve cost saving target.
- Performance monitoring of tactical sourcing KPI assigned to the team
- Understand category strategy and implement in day to day tactical sourcing projects
- Ensure compliance to Aptiv policies to all sourcing projects performed by the team
- Build strong relationship with the stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow of sourcing projects
- Partner and collaboration with tactical Sourcing Manager, category manager and category leader
- Support, guide, mentor the Category Buyer´s in their work related to negotiations, agreements and category understanding
- Escalation management and support Tactical sourcing manager on day to day operation

**BASIC REQUIREMENTS**:
**Required (R)**:

- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Mgt or equivalent)
- 3-5 years relevant experience in Sourcing
- Previous experience in supervising teams
- Strong negotiation and collaboration skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package especially Excel.
- Good communication skills and fluent with English language.

**Preferred (P)**:

- Experience in Manufacturing Categories (MRO/Consumables and M&E)
- Relevant procurement experiences in multinational corporations
- Change management experience
- Strong team building, facilitation, organizational, planning and time management skills, and a proven results-orientation
- Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems
