**Job Description:**:Customer Services Package Refurbishment and Upgrades (PRU) Engineering provides engineered solutions in support customer-specific aftermarket business opportunities. The Controls Design Engineer (CDE) position is responsible for the design of the controls and software portions on package system upgrades and retrofits. This position works with various engineering, fabrication, assembly operations, logistics and field installation personnel to ensure that project deigns are high quality, safe and cost effective. The primary accountabilities for the role include:

- Responsibility for the design of turbomachinery control system upgrades and retrofits to existing equipment
- Creation and delivery of electrical loop schematics, wiring and/or cable lists, processor (controller) software and display software in accordance with customer-specific sales orders
- Participate in Design Review meetings and Quality Gates

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant degree
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average (on 4.0 scale)
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC5, RSLogix 5 and 5000 programming software
- Working knowledge of TT4000 display system
- Working knowledge of industry standard drawings, including electrical loop schematics, wiring diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
- Solar Field Service Experience (FSR) experience is a plus
