- Support the vision of Global Quality Leadership through the successful execution of regional Goals and Objectives tied to Corporate Quality Strategy. - Drive key Quality initiatives at Fluidra Americas Suppliers in North America through ownership of Supplier Quality Metrics, such as First Pass Yield, PPM defect rate, Supplier PPAP engagement/effectiveness, and Corrective & Preventative Action date to closure. - Improving Quality performance by leading Problem-Solving Efforts at Suppliers using Effective Problem-Solving methodology. - Develop positive relationships and work closely with Sourcing Leaders to manage and implement Supplier/Engineering changes. - Serve as Lead Quality Representative on New Product Introduction and Product Transfers to Mexican Suppliers and owing the Manufacturing Readiness requirements defined in APQP. - Qualification / Improvement of Supplier Measurement and Test Systems. - Evaluation of Supplier Production Part Approval Process and First Article reports / submissions. - Audit Supplier Processes and Systems ensuring compliance, and development of improvement plans where deficiencies are documented. - Oversee source Inspection of critical components to print / standard requirements as required.

Experiência y requisitos

QUALIFICATIONS - Read, write and communicate fluently and clearly in both English and Spanish. - BS degree in Engineering or similar Technical Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience working in a Manufacturing Quality environment. - Experience as a Lead Auditor auditing to Quality Systems and Process Standards. - Strong knowledge and experience using 8D (RCCA) and/or AIAG CQI-20 Effective Problem Solving models. - Strong knowledge and experience using AIAG tools and concepts (Control Plan, PFMEA, MSA, Layered Process Audits, etc.) - Must have strong Technical aptitude. - Experience working with electronics, metal fabrication, injection molding, and whole goods assembly operations. - Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT - Travel is required (est 50% outside of Juarez) - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk around; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. - Lifting of equipment under test and associated support equipment will also be required. - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distinguishing colors, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus clearly
