- To assist in coordinating and organizing the annual standard cost, physical inventory, and cycle count, in order to maintain accurate costing information, inventory valuation and manufacturing transactions, also inventory values accuracy. Must also perform a variety of regular and recurring professional accounting and costing functions involving tax interpretation and analysis, reconciliations, and reviews of multiple accounts and transactions.**Responsibilities**
- Assist to coordinate the calculation of the annual standard cost, normal hours, rates calculations & expenses, and landing factors.
- Analyze and understand variances in material, labor and expenses; and set remediation plans according to findings.
- Assist to organize the annual physical inventory and cycle counts analyzing root causes to get corrective action plans implemented.
- Prepare manufacturing weekly performance reports for management to review.
- Assist to identify opportunities to improve profitability then be an active member of the implementation team
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and be an active member of the implementation team
- Support monthly manufacturing variance report preparation.
- Assist to communicate manufacturing scorecard to all plant areas.
- To perform general accounting and costing journal entries.
- To assist in Annex 24 compliance.
- Assist to prepare the annual business plan and monthly forecasts.
- To ensures compliance with internal controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley

**Technical/Functional Skills**
- Variance and root cause analysis skills
- Advanced Microsoft and SAP capabilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent English language skills
- Knowledge and prior experience working in a maquiladora structure
- Good interpersonal communication & organizational skills
- Able to manage priorities and workflow - multi-task oriented

**Education / Experience**
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or Business, with Minimum 5+ years of experience in Cost accounting**Your Career Begins at Timken**
