Sr Quality Engineer

Partner with Materials, Engineering, Maintenance and Production Teams to set production center goals and objectives that align with the needs of the Customer and BU targets.
The role consists of direct responsibility for the efficient operations of Spectra Strip line.
- Accountable for the business P&L, meeting and improving financial margins.
- Accountable for Key financial indicators as scrap rates and improving process indicators as Yields and plans attainments.
- Determining and implementing world class quality control mindset and standards.
- Facilitate effective and actionable Gemba walks utilizing KPIs to meet performance objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
- Developing and implementing quality control systems.
- Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
- Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably electronics or mechatronics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management.
- Deep knowledge of quality regulations and standards, such as ISO 9001, IPC, and RoHS regulations.
- Experience in the use of statistical and data analysis tools, such as SPC, Minitab, advanced Excel, and capability analysis (CPK, PPK).
- Skills in root cause analysis (Ishikawa, 5 Whys, etc.) and experience implementing corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
- Practical knowledge of the Core Quality Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
- Experience in internal and external audits, both in products and processes, and ability to implement improvements based on their results.
- Familiarity with implementing continuous improvement methodologies and problem solving on the production floor.
- Mastery of English (80% minimum) in effective technical communication skills with multifunctional teams.
- Certifications in Six Sigma (Green, Black Belt), Lean Manufacturing and experience as Internal Quality Auditor (ISO 19011) it's a plus.
