Inside Sales Support

As Inside Sales on the UC Sales Team, you are a seasoned sales professional with technical knowledge of the technologies and offers that UnifiedCommunications sells, implements, and supports. Your job is to deliver a high level of satisfaction to both the customer and sales reps with whom you work.
You will work closely with your Sales Rep(s) to coordinate with manufacturers, distributors, and key stakeholders to manage pricing, rebates, availability. You will also work closely with other internal departments to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Your main responsibility will be to the Sales Rep(s) with whom you are paired to work hand-in-hand as their inside sales team member. You will learn and develop relationships with the accounts and their contacts. Knowing what they purchase, how they pay, the locations they have and their unique requirements will enable a smooth internal process. This way you will be able to assist the customers directly while always keeping the respective Sales Rep in the loop. Setting appropriate customer expectations and offering excellent customer service. This will allow the Sales Rep(s) time to build their customer and partner network and hunt for new accounts.
**Job duties include**:
- Maintain daily communication with your assigned Sales Rep in order to prepare for the day.
- Establish and maintain relationships between you, the Sales Rep and the customers by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending product and service improvements. Work with your Sales Rep to identify what s/he would like to share directly with the customer and what you can share.
- Effectively communicate customer progress or issues immediately with the intent to solve any issues that arise in a timely manner
- Deal registration and rebate extensions
- Creation of accounts, contacts, transactions, PM requests, finalize proposals and ensure the Sales Reps approval before sending to the account, and babysitting within our ERP, NetSuite.
- Follow up on opportunities and quotes with the account in coordination with your Sales Rep for the correct cadence and who will take responsibility
- Babysitting transactions with the intent to ensure appropriate customer expectations.
- Fully learn and utilize our ERP and CRM to empower you to quote customers, price deals, and respond to customer ordering requests efficiently and rapidly
- Work with the Sales Reps to manage and track opportunity pipeline using the ERP
- Become knowledgeable about the services, solutions and devices we sell. Identify product improvements and new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Continue to train to ensure that we are offering leads, prospects, and customers the right solutions for their needs.
- Be extremely agile and responsive to customers, partners, manufacturers, and key stakeholders
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
- Follow company rules and procedures
- Work diplomatically with other members of the UnifiedCommunications team, maintaining a high degree of respect among your coworkers
