Visión general:
The world’s leading bath and kitchen manufacturer is seeking a CAD Design Engineer on our growing Ceramic Technical Design team. You will be responsible for the 3D CAD design of new products and components, working closely with cross functional teams to bring breakthrough innovations and best-in-class ceramic products to the Market, ensuring design intent, functionality and manufacturability. The position necessitates a self-motivate, out of the box thinking. Strong time management and communication skills are required to provide the timing and schedules required to bring new products to market.

**Responsabilidades**:

- Design and maintain 3D CAD models in order to achieve the design intent and manufacturability, working in collaboration with Industrial Design, Marketing and Manufacturing
- Responsible for develping product tooling and product gauges in 3D using Creo.
- Create and maintain detailed dimensional drawings, bill of materials (BOM) drawings, and any required technical communication documents
- ECR/ECN Control - Maintain up-to-date drawings with latest revision changes using WindChill PDM system and SAP
- Provide technical support and problem solving to the manufacturing facilities associated to product design and process related issues
- Design Analysis - Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews, Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Provide and execute design schedules in collaboration with Engineering and Project Management
- Work effectively in a team environment

Requisitios:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience working in a product development environment or Master’s Degree can be considered up to 3 years of experience
- Minimum 2 years of work experience using 3D CAD modeling software, preferably PTC CREO
- Experience with the creation of 2D manufacturing and assembly drawings
- Experience with GD&T, able to perform stack up tolerance analysis
- Experience with 3D surface modeling, including multi-model parametric linking is a plus
- Experience with casting, plastic-part processes, such as injection molding, vacuum-forming, thermoforming and extruding is a plus
- Experience using PDM system, preferably WindChill is a plus
- Must be a self-starter and capable of working with minimum supervision
- Must be able to travel occasionally, within Mexico and to the US
- Fluency in English is required
