As a Cloud & AI Infrastructure Solution Engineer you will lead, serve and guide the technical sales process and decisions in the customers. This opportunity will allow you to be on the frontier of the Infrastructure customer business transformation in Mexico region that accelerate your career growth, develop deep business acumen on practical cases of Infrastructure Migration & Modernization to enable and accelerate business customer outcomes, under an environment of flexible work opportunity and state whether someone can work from home partially or fully.

Your role as a Cloud & AI Infrastructure Solution Engineer is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use Azure technology. The SE is expected to be able to both own and win customers’ technical decisions, as well as find new opportunities through their contacts and engagements for sales specialists to pursue. As a SE, you work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level, demonstrate and prove our Cloud & AI Infrastructure solutions, and win the technical decision, allowing the team to achieve/exceed quarterly sales targets in your accounts. Being part of this team will allow you to maintain and develop your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based technologies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Own Cloud & AI Migration & Modernization technical discussions with customers leveraging processes and tools, demos, and programs using consultative sales methodology and technical expertise to influence the customer vision; establish rules of engagement (e.g., role boundaries, handoff strategies) for extended teams.
- Build Cloud & AI Infrastructure Migration & Modernization technical strategy: map the agreed customer vision into a strategy, resolve concerns, preventing and removing technical blockers, and validating a strong business case for investment and translating technology complexity into business impact. Work with the customer, account team, and partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation guiding the customer to choose the best Microsoft platform and win the Infrastructure Migration to Cloud (VMware, Windows, SQL Server, Linux, Storage and Networking), Application services, and Databases.
- Lead and design the solution using your Cloud Infrastructure technical knowledge, architectural approach, consultancy skills and our methodology to win a customer’s technical decision and meet the customer’s needs; drive POCs/Pilots to create momentum for MVPs, infusing key Infrastructure migration & modernization and AI technologies where appropriate and technically proficient to do POC with hands-on-skills.
- Drive and lead the modernization and migration of all workloads with (Win/SQL and.NET; Linux/PGSQL and Java, VMware). Azure Landing Zones provide the governance, security, and scalability to rehost, re-platform, refactor, or rebuild on an enterprise-ready foundation.
- Lead and win technical conversations where azure delivers native integration across Microsoft and open-source platforms. With deep interoperability and tooling, organizations preserve existing investments and accelerate innovation.
- Win in the customer the technical decisions that reduce cost and complexity by retiring legacy systems and adopting scalable, automated cloud infrastructure. Accelerate transformation with Azure Migrate, streamline remediation with GitHub Copilot for Azure, and optimize spending using Azure Copilot and FinOps tools in the Azure management console.
- Lead and win the customer technical decision that manage hybrid/multi-cloud and sovereign environments ensuring compliance, consistency, and control across your entire IT estate with Azure Arc and Azure local.
