Inside Channel Education Specialist

Our Channel organization is seeking an Inside Channel Education Specialist to join our growing team. In this role you will strategically support the Regional Fighting Units with Vertiv’s E-Rate strategy at the local and national levels. This will be done by collaborating with multiple groups to provide quotations and solutions for both current and potential National and Regional partners. This role will also provide for increased growth in the K-12 education market.
The FCC's E-Rate program makes telecommunications and information services more affordable for schools and libraries. With funding from the Universal Service Fund, E-Rate provides discounts for telecommunications, Internet access, and internal connections to eligible schools and libraries.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Identify, recruit, and enable Vertiv Partners who have sold E-Rate.
- Evangelize and enable Vertiv’s go-to-market E-Rate strategy.
- Support a territory that has Vertiv partners and potential Vertiv partners to achieve Vertiv goals including quota, OKRs (Objective and Key Results), and marketing activities.
- Work collaboratively with Regional Fighting Units, Vertiv partners, and other Vertiv associates to help drive Vertiv as the manufacturer of choice for Racks and Uninterruptable Power Supply/Battery Backup.
- Work collaboratively with our Channel Account Executive teams in territory to meet territory sales goals.
- Adhere to and support various E-Rate program guidelines, rules, and measures.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience is required.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- 1-3 years of sales experience or experience with IT Resellers is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service, organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of technology including software, hardware, and/or networking is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM management.
