Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Business System Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Information System Manager, Business System Analyst role involves executing all implementation aspects of the internal Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to satisfy projects requirements from design to delivery. Projects implies user and customer requirements gathering, system solution definition; must be able to configure system, scripting creation and development request to satisfy the manufacture process control needs, as well as often involve manufacturing machine interfacing and external customer data sharing, among other project aspects. Will be link between the functional team (Engineering and Client) and the technical team (Development and system product owners).
What a typical day looks like:
- Read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to understands and define system data models.
- Respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints related with product manufacturing processes.
- Working with the key users and/or customers to enable you to effectively gather their requirements to design the System Solution and configure the Shop Floor Control System to fulfill required process/product data collection, inspections, product identification, packing requirements and all system controls for the manufacturing process.
- Generate technical specifications for Development teams and work closely with them to satisfy the Operation/Business requirements.
- Develops test plans and protocols for evaluation of IT project solution system functionality and performance.
- Generate applicable key user manuals and instructions related with the designed and implemented system solution and provide key user training and help with enhancements made during the project implementation phase.
- Provide IT site training of the project system solution and deliver appropriate documentation for sustaining phase.
- Creates and understands Microsoft SQL queries.
- Communicate with system users and/or customers; and investigate, trouble-shoot, and resolve system problems so that user problems are resolved quickly and satisfactorily.
- Ensures that the Design, Manufacturing and Quality business solutions fulfill the customer and operation requirements in a time-effective way.
- Ensure adequate monitoring and controls are in place to ensure stability of the solutions.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent English oral and written.
- Previous experience as IT System Analyst or similar position, background in manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge and expertise in shop floor control system implementation.
- Microsoft SQL.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Availability to Travel.
- Flex Flow knowledge is also a plus.
- ERP Knowledge is also a plus.
- PMP Certification is also a plus.
- Software Verification and Validation for Medical Projects is also a plus.
- Previous experience in SCADA is also a plus.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio is also a plus.
- Previous experience with Elasticsearch is also a plus.
- Knowlegment in Big Data is also a plus.
