Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations using different types of trucks and trailers. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that deliveries are made safely and on time.
**Responsibilities**:
- Safely operate different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports
**Skills**:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with experience in operating different types of trucks
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
