Sr Accountant

Performs account reconciliation in accordance with corporate policy. **Essential Responsible Areas**: - Responsible for recording daily cash transactions and accounting related to IC Loans and interests, External Loans, FX deals, commodities and other treasury transactions - Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as and when requested to do so by the relevant authorities within the company in a complete and accurate manner and in accordance with agreed timetables. - Prepares monthly or quarterly balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with corporate policy. Reconciliations agree to the source ledger, have a clear explanation of what makes up the balance and any unidentified differences are resolved in a timely fashion. - Responsible for the completion of key functions as part of the month end closing process, including the preparation and input of journal entries - Prepares journal entries from source documentation. This may include, but is not limited to, performing and reviewing calculations prepared by others, summarizing source data, evaluating reliability of source data and verifying account coding. - Meets tight deadlines consistently and reliably, and is responsible for communicating any deadlines that may be missed to immediate supervisor in a timely manner. - Maintains process documentation and updates the documentation as processes change. - Responds to internal, external and/or audit inquiries. **Position Requirement & competencies**: Professional & Education Qualification - Broad training in a related field usually acquired through education or work-related experience - Job related experience for 3 year(s) minimum **Skills**: - Problem solving and critical thinking skills - Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of precision - Fluent in both written and spoken English.
